September will be month of balancing natural disasters along with man made efforts at destruction (Pluto turns stationary direct on Sept. 8th). The desire to loosen the grips of authoritarian rule is present as the US Election occur on the same day as the historic Saturn-Uranus opposition (Nov.4th) Questions will arise from the American population whether the price of "order" entails a handing over of control and loss of freedom! The last time Saturn-Uranus were in opposition was 1965-67. Back in the mid-sixties
real change happened on many levels. In the mid-sixties the flowering of culture brought in the women's movement, the ecology movement, respect for indigenous cultures and New Age beliefs. In The Mayan Calendar: Transformation of Consciousness , author Carl Johan Calleman tells how we as a collective are under the influence of the Fourth World. Our current phase of the Mayan cycles, the Galactic Underworld (1999 to 2011) has the Fourth World starting on August 15, 2008 near last lunar eclipse. Calleman on page 171 refers to the preceding Planetary Underworld (1755 to 2011) and 1947 when the last Fourth World began and matured in 1967-68. He says "in the West… strengthened a way of being based on the intuitive brain hemisphere." In other words in this Mayan time period known as the Galactic Underworld we have begun a time when the right brain will began to overtake and balance with the left brain.

During the August eclipses, powerful oppositions and squares (Mars-Uranus and Mars-Pluto) marked seemingly staged events from the Georgia/Russia fiasco to the Chinese Olympics. At the Olympics the Chinese government made sure that all evidence of discontent via Tibetan protest was removed. A Mars SQ Pluto aspect on the day of the August 16th Lunar eclipse, the US puppet dictator President Musharraf resigned before impeachment proceedings. The lunations in September will be used to process the preceding eclipses. Many in the US, are quickly removing their blindfolds placed via previous cycles in history. McCain's natal Venus at 22 Virgo near the US Chart's idealistic Neptune is currently opposed by transiting Uranus in Pisces retrograde.

The Heliacal Rising Star is Alphard - the Water Serpent, the same Heliacal Rising star for 9-11-2001 WTC Event. According Ebertin-Hoffmann in Fixed Stars page 50: "Alphard is of a Saturnian nature with a measure of influence from Venus and Neptune." Alphard is definitely a malefic influence and Ebertin-Hoffman goes on to say that it maybe connected to poison - blood poisoning or murder by poison. With Virgo-Pisces axis, hospitals, medicine and disease are on the table whether the result of a natural disaster or man made virus. Virgo's connection to the sixth house, service and healing will be of utmost importance during September.
