Timeline for a confusing WAR that appears to be another devastating power grab about who will own the oil resources which flow from the Caspian Sea to the EU
South Ossetia is also at the crossroads of strategic oil and gas pipeline routes.

Somthing is just not right with Georgia's attack set for 8:53 PM Local Time - Leo rising with Sun in 1st house moving toward Karmic S Node along with Mercury (mind-communications) separating from an exact opposition to Neptune in Aquarius totally misleading the world as to who the real aggressors can be. Mars in Virgo (ruled by Mercury in the 3rd House of treaties signed by the country, neighboring nations, diplomatic messages, rumors, foreign affairs (with the 9th House). Aries MC (ruled by Mars) representing the house which rules the government, the leadership or ruling class but with Vesta-Taurus (focus-commitment) and Pallas-Gemini strategy in War both intercepted and really running the show.
This is not a simple confrontation by any means and has global implications.

The Georgian offensive was violent and tactically but short lived. Georgian forces launched a massive military offensive to take control of its breakaway republic of South Ossetia. Looking back to March 2008 - South Ossetia asks the world to recognize its independence from Georgia, following the West's support for Kosovo's secession from Serbia. Heavy artillery was bombarding the capital Tskhinvali while fighter planes have attacked at least one village. Then the Great Bear, Russia got involved

Half an hour later @ 10:00 UTC + 4.00, Georgian sources reported that three Russian Su-24 Fencer attack aircraft flew into the Georgian airspace and dropped two bombs close to a police station near the town of Kareli, which borders South Ossetia
