A strange halo effect encircles the moon. Mars is the bright object in the lower left corner of the circle. Mars as we know is has been having a close encounter with Earth. Yesterday the Red Planet was only 99 million km away....
The buildup to this Biggest Full Moon of the year due to perigee has been almost like a Jackson Pollock painting. A painting where today's birthday boy (Jan. 28, 1912) moves over his work like a panther and adds many dramatic elements which are dripped on to the canvas. In the central part of the US there are some nasty ice, snow and mixed precipitation traveling over New Mexico, western Texas, Oklahoma and southern Kansas. Snow and ice are a function of Saturn (now in unstable Libra) and Capricorn and with a a close and dangerous square to Pluto in Capricorn we expect even worse tomorrow.

Other elements to add to our upcoming luantion are Bernanke's confirmation as Federal Reserve Chairman today amidst embattled sentiments. Sun-Mars in opposition reflects the poor showing of a 70-30 senate vote, 14 votes worse than the closest previous vote for a Fed chairman. It isn't all over for Bernanke and the Fed thanks to Ron Paul and legislation is still pending to finally audit the monetary policy and strip the Fed of bank-supervision powers.
Patterns are layered and blended just like the clouds where surrounding tonight's Moon rising in Cancer with an eerie glow. By late evening tomorrow, depending on the cloud over, we see something like the orb shining above. Leo Moon and Mars together are considered "HOT" energies to say the least. Hopefully they will open our hearts, inspire the inner rebel with an opposition to the reformist Aquarian Sun and Venus. Perhaps this lunation will help melt the ice storm that has frozen souls in this country.

This foreboding image could signal catastrophic rains and deluge of biblical proportions on the West Coast? The key word here is safety inspired by the Moons nodes on the security axis of Cancer-Capricorn of the 10th/4th house. Pluto is in the 3rd. house along with Ceres in Sag. The 3rd. house represents all forms of transportation, writers, bridges, communications, postal service, education and media. So one day after Obama's State of the Disunion speech, money from the stimulus is going to the high-speed line in California from Los Angeles to San Francisco. Sadalsuud is rising with the Moon and projecting good feelings.
Sadalsuud is in the left shoulder of the Water Bearer and said to aid in martial happiness. Per Robson, with the Moon it helps reputation through occult matters, respect of friends, favorable for gain, peculiar domestic conditions.
Sadalmelek is rising while Mars is setting and is on the right shoulder of the Water Bearer. Sadalmelek is considered quite auspicious and with Mars: Speaks of fame through discoveries in science or inventions, benefits do not last. With the current transit of Mercury/Capricorn in positive sextile to Uranus/Pisces and in many including scientific areas we are observing different types of disclosure mirror the roots of the word discover: "to remove the covering."
Menkar is rising as the Sun is culminating

Sirius is rising with Mars which promotes a focussd dedicaton leadint to brilliance. We all know that Sirius is the Dog-Star in Canis Major Sirius is known as the scorcher which gives good qualities, charity and a faithful heart, but violent and dangerous passions. In terms of longitude, Sirius is found in the 10th near the MidHeaven and in paran with Mars. In good aspect with Mars and Jupiter and close to the MC, it can relate to gaining extensive wealth, a lucky hand in commercial enterprise or matters of government. Rising with Mars, translates to great courage,generosity, military preferment or military contracts.
