Pluto Has his Day and Pandora Opens Forbidden Secrets

Friday the Thirteenth Letting Go of Superstition

Ever since the Full Moon (March 10th) hit like a tractor trailer smashing into a small dinner in Temple Texas to horrendous massacres in Alabama and Stuttgart, Germany, how could Friday the Thirteenth hold any worst portents?!
In fact we may even see a renewal or regeneration out of all this sadness and wounding (Chiron-Mars together) with Pluto applying to a close trine with the asteroid Ceres putting in focus on the Ceres-Pluto myth involving the reinvigoration of the living iight of Spring. Ceres, the asteroid Goddess is about nurturing everyone from children to deep family ties, the practice of agriculture from raising grain to making food. One of the qualities of Ceres is letting go and with many of the crazy Piscean superstitions like Friday the 13th, the time has finally come.

The chart above which is set for the Moon's ingress into Scorpio on Friday the 13th, has Pluto in some interesting configurations. Most notably with Venus now retrograde an applying Venus SQ Pluto is creating stress with obsessive situations where trust is undermined and sex is power. Ceres is still moving toward an earthy trine with Pluto which may help us all transform our values of acceptance as we began to have a deeper understaning of our psyche. Mercury now in Pisces is separating from a sextile with Pluto which is enhancing our psychic abilities along with research and investigative acumen. Pluto is also parallel Jupiter and the N Node adding a dimension of power to legislation and a transformational destiny which awaits these hyper years of experementation.

The fear of Friday the 13th is called paraskavedekatriaphobia, a word derived from the concatenation of the Greek words Paraskeví (meaning Friday), and dekatreís (meaning thirteen). There is no written evidence for a "Friday the 13th" superstition before the 19th century even though the number 13 may have been purposely vilified by the founders of patriarchal religions. The Judeo-Christian religions were undoubtedly responsible for discrediting 13 since it represented femininity. Over the years this superstition, may have derived from the Last Supper where he 13th guest at the Last Supper betrayed Jesus. Also there is a Norse myth, that having thirteen people seated at a table will result in the death of one of the diners. Thirteen was revered in ancient goddess-worshiping cultures since corresponded to the number of lunar (menstrual) cycles in a year (13 x 28 = 364 days). The "Earth Mother of Laussel," a 27,000-year-old carving found near the Lascaux caves in France depicts a female figure holding a crescent-shaped horn bearing 13 notches.

Pluto Get's His Day of Homage.

Despite all the heaviness of the last Full Moon, Pluto the God of the Underworld and brother to both Jupiter and Neptune is again declared a planet by the state of Illinois.
Talk about a tale of transformation (the quality most attributed to Pluto) going from demotion by the IAU (International Astronomical Union) to a "dwarf planet" back in 2006 to a full fledged planet again with his own day.

The Illinois state governors decision to reinstate Pluto as a planet. Illinois has announced their intention to name Friday 13 March 2009 "Pluto Day", to mark its discovery in 1930 by Clyde Tombaugh, who happened to be born on a farm in the state.

On Friday the 13th - Pluto will be at 3 degrees 10 Capricorn which has a rather interesting Sabian Symbol:
"Pandora stands with her back to a mysterious black chest, her hand resting on it's lid later she is seen on her knees, looking through the chest's keyhole."
We are now in a time when many people are fascinated by the forbidden and unknown.
This is a time when guarding secrets vs. prying into one's privacy is at work along with occult and sexual secrets coming out into the open. Since the Full Moon many dark revelations like the gifts for mankind have been flying out of the chest. From Seymour Hersh telling of the 'Executive assassination ring'which reported directly to Cheney to Howard K. Stern Arrested for Furnishing Drugs to Anna Nicole Smith. The nature of Pisces which correlates to the modern ruler Neptune and the 12th house has been strong as subconcious under currents and self undoing lie together.
On the Full Moon of March 10th - Pandora 55 is exactly contraparallel (like opposition) to Ceres plus Mercury is Opposing Ceres in Virgo these aspects deals pure and simply with food and security.
Pandora 55 is an extremely large and very bright Main belt asteroid discovered in Sept. 10, 1858.
Our reference to Pandora with Ceres deals with GMO food, pesticides and chemical additives to name a few that mankind decided to experiment with during the 1930's when Neptune was in Virgo.
According to the myth, Pandora opened a jar (pithos) in modern accounts referred to as "Pandora's box", releasing all the evils of mankind— although the particular evils are not specified in detail — leaving only Hope inside once she had closed it again. She might have opened the jar out of simple curiosity and not as a malicious act. All in all the jar has been opened!
Now that the box has been opened on many levels and dimensions, we are responsible for pushing limitiations towards freedom in a more compassionate society.
This may sound like a way too idealistic view but remember that Jupiter-Neptune meet on May 15th for the first window of what can occur in the future.
