CURRENT MOON
The Royal Navy's most formidable warship is being sent to the Gulf for its first mission as tensions rise in the strategically vital region, it can be disclosed.
It appears that the building tensions in the Persian Gulf are reaching a critical mass heading towards Monday's Full Moon in Cancer . In fact there continues to be a world wide focus on the Strait of Hormuz (a narrow, strategically important strait between the Gulf of Oman in the southeast and the Persian Gulf.) Notice below that I have set a chart for the Cancer Full Moon on January 9, 2012 @ 11:30 AM LMT in Oman. Notice that aggressive Aries is rising @ 12 degrees 30 with this curious Sabian: "A bomb which failed to explode is now safely concealed." We are in a time of attacks and counter attacks with a quality of lashing out but things will not go as planned.
Mars ruler of the chart below is in Virgo reflecting the constant war of words and small criticisms.
The Royal Navy said recently that they are sending their mightiest ship to take on the Iranian show of force in the Gulf.
In fact the British are ready to deploy their $Billion dollar warship the HMS Daring, a Type 45 destroyer. Another announcement came on Thursday June 5th. with the Moon-Mars square adding fuel to the fire building in the Gulf. Iran's Revolutionary Guards said will hold new naval exercises in the strategic Strait of Hormuz in February. Yes on February 3rd. Neptune will make an ingress into oceanic Pisces always a time of major changes for the seas and sea going vessels.
The chart above describes a time when impulse control is tough with cardinal signs on all the angles and Pluto in Capricorn at Mid-Heaven. The Moon is in the 4th house it's ruling place and is TSQ Saturn in Libra in the 7th and the Sun in Capricorn. The emotional charge, hysteria will be high and with Mercury recently entering Capricorn to square Uranus in Aries, words and communications about this nervous and militant situation will shock. Mars is opposing Ceres in the 12th house (karmic themes) and adding to the upheaval involving Iran's need for independence.
Most importantly Mars turns retrograde in Virgo at the time of the next New Moon in Aquarius on January 23 and will continue till April 14th). Mars retrograde is a time of angst and frustrations which will also effect workers who might hinder the delivery of vital services and goods throughout the world. This blockage of services will very likely include crude oil through the Strait of Hormuz. In Virgo Mars can signify a minor detail or mistake that could cause a confrontation.
