Aftermath of the Gemini Super Moon: Part One Mars in a Waning Square to Saturn

Welcome back light workers, evolving souls,  freedom seekers, starseeds and warriors of truth.

Instead of the usual looking ahead to the Gemini  Super Moon on December 4th I am using hindsight to cover our last Full Moon
Today December 8th we are looking at what this "Cold Moon" has wrought.
First here is the chart set for Thursday's highly mutable Full Moon in Salem, Oregon
I have added a backdrop of  fixed stars, dwarf planets and asteroids with the most glaring aspect a Mutable Cross with the Sun @ 13 degrees Sagittarius 3 ' conjunct the Great Attractor and opposing the  Moon @ 13 degrees Gemini 3 '
And Crossed by the N Node @ 13 degrees Pisces and S Node @ 13 degrees Virgo  defining humanity's spiritual definition into 2026 all influenced by power of the Great Attractor

The Great Attractor(TGA) is a region of gravitational attraction found in intergalactic space and the apparent central gravitational point of the Laniakea Supercluster. It is a gravitational anomaly
and a  massive concentration of galaxies and dark matter within the Centaurus Wall, pulling our Milky Way and other galaxies towards it, though still partially hidden by our own galaxy's disk in the "Zone of Avoidance"
How does this point affect us?  According to pioneering Galactic Astrologer, Julia Balz,
"energetic and psychological influence of the Great Attractor to me, metaphorically speaking, reflects the concept of the holographic fractal universe, teaching us about inclusion rather than exclusion. We are guided to come together to share the wisdom we gathered and co-create something epic."  Whenever we find a planet, point in our birth chart or by transit nea, r the  TGA people, places and situations are magnetically attracted to us.  With the last Full Moon the  Sun and TGA were cojoined thus  where self-identity and leadership were featured. On a personal level we may have been drawn toward a  creative, unifying energy that could inspire  others (particularly with the  Sun in Sagittarius, the  truth seeker) to do their own exploration of  deeper truths and and to integrate polarities and different perspectives.
Note in the chart below  Mars, the primal driver of action at 22 degrees Sagittarius was applying to a square with  Saturn at 25 Pisces near the Fixed Star Algol where beings lose their adds metaphorically and  lose their prominence in mundance astrlogy.

Part One: Mars in a Waning Square to Saturn to complete the cycle today December 8th
The last Mars-Saturn opposition was completed on August 8th when Mars in Libra  was opposing Saturn in Aries.  A new cycle  will start on April 19, 2026 when Mars meets Saturn in Aries also conjunct Mercury - The world will look very different.

The Tension That Turns Momentum Into Mastery.”

When Mars forms its waning square to Saturn, the cosmos delivers a moment of sober clarity — the kind that reshapes our trajectory more by refinement than by force. The waning square is not the crisis of initiation but the reckoning of wisdom: a crossroads where action meets consequence, desire meets discipline, and the ego meets its own edges.

On December 8, 2025, Mars pushes forward with instinctual urgency, while Saturn stands as the elder at the threshold, asking:
“Is this action aligned with truth, or merely with impulse?”

This is a tension of compression, not punishment. Mars wants motion; Saturn wants meaning. Their friction sharpens intent like stone against steel.

  • Mars represents our raw will, momentum, passion, and instinctive courage.
  • Saturn is the architecture of time — the boundary, the law, the necessary structure.

Their waning square signals a course correction, a moment of karmic engineering, where we are tasked with building a wiser form of movement from the fragments of old effort.

The Philosophical Dimension

This transit reveals a universal principle:
will without wisdom becomes waste, and discipline without passion becomes decay.
Mars pushes us to act; Saturn ensures those actions matter. The square shows us where we’ve been acting out of habit rather than purpose, and where struggle has been masquerading as progress.

Here, the cosmos asks for mastery, not martyrdom.

The Spiritual Implication

Spiritually, this is a purification of desire.
A stripping away of ego-driven striving.
A reminder that the soul evolves not through speed but through sincerity.

Mars–Saturn tensions often feel like running in sand — resistance everywhere, progress nowhere. But spiritually, this is the alchemy of pressure:
pressure that distills intention, pressure that reveals integrity, pressure that whispers:
“Slow down. Act cleanly. Align with your higher directive.”
