Heart and Light Expansion on this First Virgo New Moon
Open your hearts and soul's to this incredible New Moon
On August 22nd @ 11:07 PM PDT or August 23rd @ 2:07 AM EDT - the first and most benefic new moon in Virgo @ 0 Virgo 23 minutes conjunct Regulus - the Royal Star Watcher of the North and connected to the Archangel Raphael, courage, leadership and the Egyptian Goddess Sekhmet. Sekhmet represents the duality ofwar/destruction and potent healing.Known as the "Lady of Life" and "Mistress of Dread," she embodies the fierce, fiery power of the sun and a lioness's wrath but could also cure diseases and protect the righteous.
From an Astronomical perspective the skies will become darker than usual thanks to a rare Black Moon (not Black Moon Lilith) — the third new moon in a single season with four new moons. This phenomenon happens only every 33 months! Why is this special?
During a Black Moon, the Moon is completely invisible because its sunlit side faces away from Earth. With no moonlight to brighten the sky, stargazers get a perfect chance to see the Milky Way, faint stars, and even late meteors from the Perseid shower.
The Sabian Symbol for this lunation @ 0 Virgo 23 relates to the discrepancies of appearances and asking us to look deeper than the superficial: "In a portrait, the best traits and characters of a person are idealized"
With Uranus @ 1:22 Gemini in a 90 degree angle to the Sun/Moon in mutable earthy Virgo we should see disruptions and even more quakes like the magnitude 7.5 which happened near Drake's Passage yesterday.
Ruler of this Virgo New Moon is Mercury now direct in Leo at 12 degrees 33 minutes in a fiery pioneering, trine to Alpheratz @ 14 Aries 40 now called Sirrah; a bluish-white star found in the constellation Andromeda. Sirrah is found on the head of the chained woman. On the positive side this star is known is to bestow wealth, honors, cheerfulness, optimism, versatility, good judgement, a love of life, a love of ease and comfort and a tendency towards being lazy.
Joining Mercury is the dwarf planet Varuna, who I have mentioned before. Varuna is Vedic deity of vast power, particularly the waters. When Varuna is fully in his sovereign power, he demonstrates competentence, regulating without force the full mastery of all tasks. On the mundane and political level Varuna will be in effect with events regarding the delegation of authority, both promotions and demotions. Also expect to hear about court martials and public humiliation in the news. Also from a ceremonial place expect special spiritual coronations and “induced” journeys as in shamanically led vision quests like those under the influence of ayahuasca or psilocybin mushrooms.

On the South Node @ 18 Virgo retrograde. (representing our past lives and even many ancient gifts and talents) near asteroid Karma (not seen in the chart) is joined along with the dwarf planet Orcus. Orcus sits @ 16 degrees Virgo and is a favorable alignment with North Node in Pisces our future destiny. Orcus, brother to Pluto is considered the modern ruler of Capricorn and exhibiting the right timing and synchronous karmic events as the Roman God of the Underworld

When Orcus is present in our lives he challenges our broken promises, those decrees we have not kept to ourselves too. Orcus askes us to be aligned with a spiritual creed, accountable for personal thought, word and deed. However, Orcus' energy is much deeper and more involved than the areas of time and restriction covered by Saturn, which classically rules Capricorn. From the ceremonial side Orcus asks us to write creeds, began channeling the latest cosmic downloads and formatting it into all into a doctrine.
In other words we are in the area of quantum jumps not bound by the 3rd dimension as the ancient gifts surround us during this New Moon .
The Grand Water Trine is comprised of North Node in Pisces near the Fixed Star Achernar in the Constellation Eridanus the River, a southern constellation. Alpha Eridani, is a 1st magnitude binary star system located at the end of the River. Acherna per Ptolomey is said to possesses a Jupiterian nature with a dash of Mars-Uranus character. If well placed it promises happiness and success by giving good morals, faithful adherence to one’s religious beliefs, spiritual tenets or a philosophical inclination. For our purposes the river will bring success .
S. Node is trine Vesta, Juno and Lilith in Scorpio adding a distinct focus and concentration to our unrealized desires. Also fixed Star Acrux, thebrightest star in the Southern Cross is trine Acherna and the motivator to the Scorpio stellium of asteroids. Acrux offers religious beneficence, love of ceremony, justice, magic and mystery, and is frequently prominent in the horoscopes of astrologers and occultists.
Finally the last leg of this Grand Water Trine is Jupiter in Cancer @ 16 Cancer14 near Sirius A (the realm of the wisdom keepers) inviting us to bask in self-nurturance while being nurturing and compassionate to others. Sirius adds a layer of ancient wisdom to this combination while the Sabian Symbol for 17 Jupiter is : "The Seed Grows into Knowledge and Life." As Rudyar describes this symbol: "The life's urge to actualize one's birth potential."

The sign Virgo relates directly to the duodenum and small intestines, the physiologcial nature of the process of digestion and the microbiome. This is an excellent time to nourish your microbiome with fermented vegetables like Sauerkraut or strains of yogurt like L Reuteri.
It is also a time to call on Archangel Raphael as we help all of our bodies heal as we activate our 12 strand DNA on the ascension journey.

This Second Virgo New Moon on September 21st is a potent and challenging Partial Solar Eclipse taking place one day before the Fall Equinox. This eclipse is visible from New Zealand, plus a thin strip of Australia’s eastern coast, various Pacific islands, and parts of Antarctica. We may see some earthquakes in those regions which are already on the ring of fire. Although the UTC date of the eclipse in September 21, New Zealanders will see the eclipse at sunrise on September 22.
This 2nd New Moon @ 29 Virgo 05 has an impatience and axiety to it with this Sabian Symbol: "Having an urgent task to complete, a man doesn't look toward any distractions."
Here we are asked to focus and avoid tempatations and being single-minded. We are invited to not get lost in the details.

trine Pluto and Uranus (now retrograde as of September 5th). With the shocker/disrupter Uranus now moving backwards expect some major weather events and likely large earthquakes.

Also the Sun is conjunct Markeb, which is a star found within the Sail of theconstellation of the Ship Argo Navis, close to Carina, the Keel. Per Robson, Markeb is the small star in the Buckler of the Ship. Of the nature of Saturn and Jupiter. It gives piety, a wide knowledge, educational work and voyages.
