Barbault's Basket Part One: Lift Off 2026

 

Dearest friends, starseeds, light workers, cosmic travelers, seekers of a new consciousness....

You may have heard about André Barbault, the renowned French astrologer, who forecasted that 2026 would be a massive historical turning point. Perhaps you are seeing numerous astrologers telling you what will occur this month or over the  next two years.  Nobocy even Andre, are able to clearly forcast the  results. Andre predicted a "new great phase of technological growth" driven by outer planets, culminating in a rare "basket" planetary alignment in July 2026, which he believed would spark a profound socio-cultural reset and break the old order. From the perspective of modern evolutionary astrology, Barbault's Basket is considered a rare concentration of planetary energy. The idea, developed by astrologer André Barbault, is that when the slower-moving planets gather within roughly one-third of the zodiac, humanity enters a period where history seems to accelerate. Old systems become unstable, new ideas emerge rapidly, and events that normally unfold over decades can happen within just a few years. It does not predict one specific event, but it symbolizes a period when collective evolution speeds up. In my opinion Andre's description is in the ballpark. 

Barbault identified that the slow-moving outer planets (Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) would cluster into a specific, rare geometric shape in the zodiac. The pattern, peaking around July 19–21, features Jupiter in Leo opposing Pluto in Aquarius, while sextiling Neptune in Aries and trining Uranus in Gemini. 

The July 17 to July 21 alignments he described are remarkable because the major outer planets are not simply clustered—they are also making harmonious aspects to one another. Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto all sitting around 4 degrees of their respective signs creates what many astrologers would call a "blueprint for evolutionary change."

Uranus trine Pluto suggests revolutionary change that doesn't have to come through destruction. Uranus represents awakening, innovation, technology, and freedom. Pluto represents deep transformation, hidden power, and evolution. A trine between them suggests humanity is given an opportunity to reinvent itself instead of merely surviving collapse. Technologies, new forms of communication, artificial intelligence, space exploration, medicine, and our understanding of consciousness could all make enormous leaps forward.

Neptune sextile Pluto adds another layer. Neptune dissolves old beliefs and opens spiritual awareness, while Pluto transforms consciousness from the roots upward. Together they often coincide with humanity becoming interested in mystical subjects, intuition, the occult,  psychic abilities and as we are seeing the farthest reaches of our  own galaxy and beyond. 

Looking back into  the most recent  cycle  of Pluto and  Uranus, we see it  opened in 1965–66 conjunction in Virgo when the Summer of Love occurred. Now the   waxing trine arrives from 2026 to 2028: Uranus in Gemini, Pluto in Aquarius.  We have two high blying  air signs, conspiring in harmony. Is this conspiratorial partnership is about changing the  world as we know it. 

The exact trine this July 17 @ 9:45 PM PDT or July 18 @ 12:45 AM EDT occurs @ 4 degrees 29 minutes of  each sign Gemini and  Pluto respectively and this is  just the  beginning.

Another trine occurs  on November 29, 2026 with Uranus @ 3 degrees Gemini Retrograde and Pluto @ 3  degrees Aquarius Retrograde 

Then on June 15, 2027 with Uranus @ 6 degrees Gemini and Pluto @ 6 degrees of Aquarius  direct 

Then on January 13, 20238 with Uranus  @ 6 degrees Gemini  Retro and  Pluto @ 6 degrees Aquarius Retro. 

And finally on May 9 - 10 with Uranus  @ 8 - 9  degrees Gemini  and Pluto  @ 8 - 9 degrees Aquarius  direct.
