Today, June 29th. everything seems to be coming to an apex point of intensity and chaos. Between now and the next Capricorn Full Moon on July 3rd @ 11:52 AM Pacific Time we are in a highly dangerous time. Sure the stock market is up reflecting news from the Eurozone and triggered by volatility of the Sun-Uranus square known as level one indicator (per Ray Merriman. These type of irrational rallies will be all too brief and sporadic Yes things are falling apart, unraveling in many areas  since the first passage of Uranus in square to Pluto on June 24th. This is just the beginning since there are six more passages to go in the next 33 months. In the process we are living in historic times filled with frenzy, vehemence (Saturn entering Scorpio in October) but also with rising up of consciousness once deceptions are brought to light. We are in a time in wild transformation like a Phoenix ready to reincarnate. Most of the current disruptions are in alignment with  the ongoing Uranus-Pluto waxing square in a TSQ to the Sun (vitality-identity) now in protective and dramatic Cancer making what we had hoped to be the last translation of light or energies to this powerful and explosive aspect.

Uranus, the planet of eccentricity and shocking changes is positioned in the public house associated with Capricorn. Capricorn involves structure which can unexpectedly break down. Mars will change signs into Libra setting up an explosive Grand Cardinal Cross. In terms of accidents, earthquakes, volcanoes or lighting strikes Mars which has been in Virgo since Nov. 11, 2011, will oppose Uranus on this Full Moon (exact on July 18th). Mars opposing Uranus is a highly dangerous aspect known for accidents, sudden aggressive eruptions like a runaway train or runaway horses (N Node in Sagittarius). Jupiter Enters Gemini 6-11-12 - Can You Feel the Winds Pt. One.

We are on the cusp of a major cosmic shift which includes Jupiter (Zeus the King of Mt. Olympus) entering Gemini. Even though Jupiter is in detriment in Gemini opposing Sagittarius, the impact of this ingress will be anything but silent. Gemini is the sign the wordy Twins and compared to the placid Bull-Taurus, wants to talk and move quickly. Yes on June 11th. @ 10:22 AM PDT or 1:22 PM EDT.


Are you ready for the winds? I am speaking of a massive communications infrastructure exploding with new media and alternatives. Time for new ideas aided by Sun-Venus and S. Node in Gemini.  There will be a huge  emphasis on improving education, improving transportation issues, along with multiple distractions and different modes of thinking to say the least. Also there is strong tendency toward inflation, with Jupiter in a long standing square with Neptune in Pisces into 2013. The inflationary spiral will become more apparent as Venus stations direct on June 27th - Venus now in Gemini will reflect the currency changes.

 When Jupiter enters Gemini today, Mercury (like Venus in May) is now OOB Out of Bounds this month by declination. Mercury started this declination trend on May 30th. and completes on June 19th. 30 May 2012 - 19 Jun 2012 - Mercury OOB) So even though Mercury has separated from that edgy and argumentative square with Mars he is moving into Out of Bounds territory.In fact Mercury is now (June 11th) + 25 degrees 13 minutes North Declination Just as Venus finishes her Out of Bounds journey on the June 4th Full Moon, Mercury is headed into that bizarre region.
 When Mercury is out of bounds all forms of communications become more radical and in many ways more creative.

Besides Mercury, Mars will have a huge effect in this Jupiter Gemini  ingress since Mars on July 4th 1776 was posited at 21 degrees 22 minutes  Gemini and square Neptune @ 22 degrees Virgo. Full Moon Partial Eclipse for June 4, 2012 - Rising from the Ashes

We are entering an intense time of change astrologically along a series of astronomical high points. Tomorrow's Full Moon/Partial Eclipse in Sagittarius acts as a gateway to the Venus transit on June 5th/6th. This is an ultra busy day when fire and air will build the flames of action. The Moon is full in the sign of the Archer @ 14 degrees 13 minutes @ 4:11:33 AM PDT Sagittarius is the sign of the truth keeper and the Sabian symbol for 15 degrees Sagittarius speaks of this quest - "The ground hog looking for it's shadow." This is a time of conflict between the waking and sleeping minds as we all try to make sense of the current maze of symbolism and events. Like I said, this is a crazy, bizarre time filled with combustion and conflagration on many levels.

After the moon is one third covered by the Earth's umbral shadow at maximum eclipse, then the fiery Sagittarius Moon goes on to square Mars adding fuel to the fire. Moon-Mars can create angry words could degenerate into fights. The lovers come together as emotions over power reason with the Moon opposing Venus in as the twins vie for top position. Then Neptune the planet of illusion and imagination moves retrograde in Pisces as logic is set aside on the shelf and replaced by sensitive feelings and intuition. This lunar eclipse, a twin to the May 20th Annular Solar Eclipse may not be noticed by most people more fixated on the Venus transit. Make now mistake this event and day are highly significant for all of us. Both this Partial Lunar Elipse the preceding Solar Eclipse (May 20th. ) with Sun-Moon-S Node and Venus all in Gemini are part of the Saros Series 14 South. This Saros Series is about both success that comes from long, struggling hard work and an obsessive idea which finally takes hold. There is a quality which relates to the highly mutable, changeable nature of both Gemini/Sagittarius where a breakthrough finally comes.


 Looking at the salient astronomical points: At 3:00 am Pacific Daylight Time, not long before sunrise on Monday, June 4th, the Moon passes directly behind our planet. A broad stretch of lunar terrain around the southern crater Tycho will fall under the shadow of Earth, producing the first lunar eclipse of 2012. At maximum eclipse, around 4:04 am PDT, 37% of the Moon's surface will be in the dark. The eclipse is visible in North and South America, Australia, eastern parts of Asia and all across the Pacific Ocean. Observers in western Canada and the USA will have the best views with moonset occurring sometime after mid-eclipse.

In the two charts set for the West Coast, where there is maximum visibility for the eclipse, Taurus is rising putting emphasis on Venus intercepted in the first house. Of course the Sun-Venus are opposing the Moon in imaginative Sagittarius and TSQ Mars in either the 4th house (Set for San Francisco) or in the 5th. house (set for Vancouver) The Chart Below is set for San Francisco

   Below the San Francisco chart here, is one  set for Vancouver (Western Canada provides great visibility) at the time of the Full Moon on June 4, 2012 @ 4:11:33 AM PDT.  Here Venus is rising but with Ceres and Jupiter in Taurus emphasizing fixed, earth and potential seismic changes - along with an opposition to Juno (relationships) now in Scorpio. At 2:05 PM, Neptune stations to turn retrograde and is conjunct Fomalhaut (a fixed star in the mouth of the Southern Fish, Piscis Austrinus) The combination by longitude of Neptune/Fomalhaut relates to both charisma and illusion/deception. Neptune moving retrograde of course will set up a long term square with Jupiter which moves into Gemini on June 11th but will be able to look past the denial and illusions of current events. Neptune stationing retrograde can empower our perceptions as they become more acute like sensitive radar picking up the lies. We should expect some real explosions after this eclipse. After the last solar eclipse we had the largest wildfire in New Mexico's history which is still threatens to grow bigger. Heliacal Setting Star: Arcturus the star on the left knee of the Herdsman/Bootes. Arcturus, the 4th brightest star in the sky is known as the hunter and pathfinder. In this case this is about the vision to take the first step into the unknown and discover new territories. Simply put Diadem is about sacrifice especially that of the feminine where glory or personal fame is not the goal. There is an element here that does glorify the desire to serve and that one must accept the losses of life. Unfortunately this star is also connected to the illusion of religious sacrifice that could even lead to mass suicide. Let's pray that this impulse will not occur even with the heavy element of panic and hysteria caused by the Neptune station.



  Update: Looking beyond this eclipse which I viewed under cloudy skies here in the South Bay around 4:05 AM: Despite the dreariness surrounding the energies with this eclipse, I have a gut  feeling that a long awaited and heartfelt change is coming. First we have the  Venus Transit tomorrow (June 5th),   then on May 7th Mercury enters more tender, sensitive Cancer, Jupiter enters Gemini on June 11th. and finally Venus stations to move direct on June 27th. The Solar Eclipse on May 20th brought a detached hard edge to things and this lunar eclipse brings new visions beyond despair and doom. This conjures up a time when those oppressed and shut down can rise from the ashes of tyranny.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Gemini Part One

Today is more than just a New Moon and Annular Eclipse in mutable Gemini, which in itself is significant. Today marks the start of a new way of thinking and mendacity. Actually we are now in the middle of a battle for consensus reality on the Internet or what it was formerly known the Darpa Net. For many this is time of revisiting the battle for war and peace that drove the the mid-sixties when Uranus-Pluto where together in Virgo. New Moon's are times of visions and new ways of looking at things and with Gemini this will mean communication, education and data collecting. Newer agendas and inspiration mix with passions since Mars in Virgo is applying to a square with Venus now retro in the sign of the twins. There is a strong push for new initiatives to take us into the future. effects on the earth's tectonic plates. Synchronized with this Paschal Libra Full Moon aka the Pink moon of the Phlox flowers a perigee point is reached.
The moon will arrive at its perigee point on April 6th @ 10 PM PDT or on April 7th at 17:00 UT (1 p.m. EDT.

The chart below is set for Washington, DC @ 3:19 PM EDT on 4-6-2012 two months away from both the Venus Transit and the Lunar Eclipse.
In the chart below, Leo is rising @ 26 degrees 26 minutes with the chart's ruler the Sun in the 8th house of death and taxes. Strikingly Mars is intercepted in "critical" 4 degrees Virgo
opposing Neptune and Chiron in Pisces (relating to water and oil) in the 7th. The descendant or 7th house relates to open enemies and trading partners - all of this will involve the oceans and waterways around the USA.

Consider that Libra is co-ruled by Venus, and Venus now opposes Juno in adventurous Sagittarius. So the nodes of destiny (future and past) are in play and crossed by the sign of the prepper, Mars in Virgo. Mars in this highly analytical sign fo the Virgin is retrograde and frustrated. Mercury has finally stationed and even in his fall in perplexing Pisces it is getting better. It won't be long before, Mars, the warrior and athlete can finally move direct on April 12th. Except that Mars will be in orb of an opposition to Neptune and Chiron for awhile as more news of the Elgin Gas Leak in the Atlantic surfaces with the help of Greenpeace. The complimentary and oppositional qualities of Venus and Mars are in play. Here we see themes which concern the feminine and masculine aspects of desire and sexuality being in played out with the mutable cross. Consider that Venus representing the force of attraction and Mars representing the force of assertion and Mars move direct then Venus moves retrograde on May 15. setting up these same dynamics into June 2012. In the chart above all four angles are covered with Venus and S Node at the apex (past gifts and themes). Venus in the sign of the Twins near the S. Node and all that implies from twin events to physical twins and other reflections of duplicity.

Another portend relating to Denebola (now transiting in Virgo) involves sedition and the deaths of great men. Since Regulus has also been prominent in the last few lunations, we should expect something regarding some great leader passing during this Full Moon.

Libra Full Moon on April 6, 2012 Dancing with Mars and Hard Rectangles

Approaching what has to be one of the true Dragon Moons of 2012, the Libra Full Moon on April 6th
we began to feel the heat rise all around us. Two of the primary influences of this Full Moon besides the Grand Mutable Cross are Mars and Venus. And today April 3rd.
One of the unusual aspects of this lunation is the 'Hard Rectangle', comprised of the Moon-Neptune-Sun-Mars. In the chart set for April 6th. @ 7:19 PM UT has multiple TSQ's along with even a Thors Hammer aka an Arrowhead, or God's Fist. In this Hammer configuration, Mars (Virgo) leads again along with N Node (Sagittarius) and Vesta (Aries) and consists of of two planets in square aspect (90 degrees) (Mars-N Node) and both in an octile or sesqui-quadrate aspect (135 degrees) to a third planet or asteroid in this case: Vesta @ 19 Aries near the Sun @ 17 . The energy of this aspect pattern is a little like a T-square, since it has stressful, dynamic quality.

In fact this hard rectangle includes the opposition from Mars to Neptune adding a decidedly spiritual but a series of weird overtones. For example out of Wisconsin where the Clintonville booms were heard, enter Baraboo and mysterious light flashes too. So this was on April 4, 2012, Back to the description of the hard rectangle, which consists of two oppositions, the ends of which are joined by two semi-squares (45 degrees) and two sesqui-quadrates (135 degrees). Both of these "minor" aspects are active and challenging leading to swift change. The sesqui-quadrates are about sometimes painful adjustments. Like the grand cross, this rectangle is a closed aspect pattern, which means that it is self-contained and fiercely self-sufficient generating lots of actual physical energies with the Sun/Moon on the axis of conflict/resolution. Fortunatly there is less resistance than with the grand cross because the hard rectangle belongs to the eight series of numbers. I see this Hard Rectangle dealing with the integration of spirituality into daily life. Also preparing us for the next series of momentous shifts as we move deeper into April.
Then toward the historic Venus Transit on June 5, 2012 @ 6:10 PM PDT or June 6, 2012 @ 1:10 AM UT.
Tropically the Sun-Venus will be @ 15 degrees 44 minutes of Gemini
