A New Moon in Aquarius - So Much More Than it Appears

During the dark, balsamic moon phase, a shift arrived as the moon entered Aquarius yesterday evening @ 8:33 PM Pacific. From the point when the signs changed from restrictive Capricorn into more open and progressive Aquarius, folks began to anticipate and intuit that there are some massive changes ahead. Today's New Moon occurs @ 1:38 PM Pacific/4:38 PM Eastern in the sign of aviation on many levels, electric waves, migratory birds, space weather, esoteric thought, freedom revolution and a whole lot more occurs at 1:38 PM Pacific/4:38 PM Eastern. By the late afternoon/evening, we may feel like clearing the decks, jettison those old and tired ideas and eliminate the dead wood to make room for a type of Novus ordo seclorum - no I am not talking about the infamous New World Order. For many the effects of the moon actually occulting the Sun may appear to bring on that dreaded totalitarian state. Since Mercury is at the last degrees/minutes and Void of Course in Aquarius (shifting into Pisces on January 31st) close to Neptune in Pisces, movies about conspiracy realities have come out of the closet and to be seen as full fledged documentaries. The Horse has been released from his stall so to speak and too many people are learning the truth about TPTB and their efforts to control via surveillance, propaganda, weather modification and more. But what are they anyway? Here is an answer that might surprise you, take you into an insidious futuristic version of Star Wars.

 Today's excitement continued to be generated with this combination of Moon-Uranus. As always with Uraanian alignments and this one will be unique adding to more novel conditions. For weather watchers it has been unique to say the least since rain finally came to the SF. Bay Area while the entire Western United States is feeling the power of Winter Storm Maximus which is Bringing Snow, Ice to Over a Dozen States, Including Drought-Plagued California Since Mercury (day to day weather planet is at the last degree and minutes of Aquarius and Void of Course, nervous energies will be building along with unusual conditions in worldwide weather. Since Mercury will not quite reach a conjunction with Neptune in Pisces till March 22nd.due to retrograde motion on Feb. 6th. , fantasies, creative imagination, dreams and fears will all be blending. In fact Mercury re-enters Aquarius on February 12th. right before the Sun trines Mars in Libra so the call for individual courage, equality and pulling ourselves out of the darkness will be intense.

When the Sun-Moon-Mercury are in Aquarius and square Saturn (the ancient ruler) and with Saturn continuing in the sign of shadows, extremes, desires and obsessions. We have seen a number of comments about the now infamous Katy Pery Grammy's Performance. In fact Katy born a Scorpio on Oct. 26, 1984 with Pluto/Sun/Mercury/Saturn all in the sign of the occult Scorpion also has Moon-Venus-Uranus-Neptune all in the sign of deliberate sensationalism, Sagittarius. In fact in many ways Katy is a poster child for the generation born with Pluto in Scorpio always ready to push the envelop into the extremes of symbolism, mostly dealing with darkness, death and even Satanic innuendo.


The Black or Blue Horse

Whether or not it is the Pale Horse from Revelations is debatable but is is both ominous and disturbing... 2014 Year of the Wooden Horse

By February, I expect that international conflicts and struggles could lead to fierce fighting and battles. Add in Jupiter in protective, water sign Cancer opposing Pluto and crossing Warrior Mars and explosive, technological Uranus and the Year of the Horse won't be dull that's for sure.

Today's primary astronomical/astrological features include a Super Moon. Astrologically this is a New Moon filled with the promise convergence of energies in unpredictable Aquarius.  Alpheratz and Pegasus In conclusion, we see multiple forces and implications on the move with this novel new moon which in the end will reflect the Aquarian need for freedom of thought and movement. It turns out that both Venus and Mars (those two planets representing desire and action) are in paran/alignment with fixed star Alpheratz in charts set for the West Coast of the USA. Alpheratz is a double star found in Andromeda, the Chained Woman's head. Full Moon in Cancer with the the Wolf at the Door

Another Wolf Moon appears overhead tonight almost full and just separating from Jupiter (exact @ 9:06 PM PST) when generosity and cheer adds to abundance. Now the next stop for Luna is a rather restless and edgy square to Mars on the early AM of Wednesday, January. 15th. By now we all now that this Full Moon in January was appropriately known as a Wolf Moon by the Algonquin tribes from New England to Lake Superior. This name reflected the wolf packs who howled hungrily outside Indian villages while the ground was frozen and the air frigid.

Speaking of frozen and the effects of the recent polar vortex, this recent event in Norway speaks of some of the extreme climate which have besieged our planet in early 2014. This rare and recent incident told of the sea freezing so fast that it instantly killed thousands of fish. Norwegian public radio (Google-translated) reports on the instant dead of thousands of fish in a bay in the island of Lovund, Norway. An air temperature of -7.8 C (17.96 F) combined with a strong east wind froze the sea water instantly, trapping and killing the fish you can see in this fishapocalyptic image:

Last year's January Full Moon wasn't till January 26th. even though it was in the royal sign of Leo, it was still a Wolf Moon. This year of 2014, it will be Cancer, the Great Mother for 1-15-2014. Since Jupiter flowed into the sign of home, hearth and family on June 25th. it also seems that nature has been under greater  attack.  Those accumulated strikes have come  with the planet of expansion and ethics, Jupiter thrust into a T-Square with the chaotic Uranus-Pluto waxing square. In contrast to the perigee Super Moon on January 1st. this apogee moon is as  much as 14% smaller and 30% dimmer than other full Moons of 2014.  Full Moons are always turning points, the culmination of two weeks of massive climactic change since the last new moon on January 1st. Yes this lunation represents critical junctures for all of us especially those born with Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn Sun or Moon being the first of 2014. The moon is full @ 26 degrees Cancer (the Summer sign) framed by this Sabian Symbol: "Guests are reading in a library of a luxurious home." Briefly this image relates to indulgence, superficiality but also to sharing...with obvious references to the elite or people of privilege residing at an extensive, castle-like home where even controversy can follow per Downton Abbey where lives change like the seasons via passage of time (Cronus). With this full moon, women are taking on new leadership rolls (Venus retro. in Capricorn) not just in the world of "opiated" entertainment but in real world of average folks.

On the other side of the solstice axis is winter with the Sun @ 26 degrees Capricorn represented by this Sabian: "A nature spirit dancing in the mist of a waterfall." This symbol tells of carefree nymphs, dryads or faires who effortlessly rising above or perhaps evading problems. The theme of nature is powerful with the Capricorn Sun at this degree which can also relate to embracing a more escapist attitude even fearing the shadows of humanity's failure as a steward of mother nature's domain.

The chart above is also highlighted by the Moon and Jupiter at the Mid Heaven (top of the chart) representing the masses, our population from commoners to the influential but especially women in general.  In fact this Cancer moon relating to caretaking is square both Ceres and Vesta now in Libra found in the first house. Ceres representing nurturing/food and Vesta symbolizing a devoted effort are in the house relating to interior affairs, urban population, domestic affairs, general and physical conditions.  To this list I am adding health conditions since the many times over helpful Cancer moon is also in a sesquiquadrate or a  135° aspect to Chiron the wounded healer. Sesquiquadrates reveal stress and the need for adjustment.  Chiron is of course in Pisces near Juno relating to potential disease out breaks and this recent story about FEMA seeking bio-disposal for 1000 tent hospitals brings up lots of questions.
  Perhaps this is just another product of over active imaginations or hysteria but still with all that is happening the first part of 2014 including the Mars retrograde starting March 1st which keeps the forces of swift change spinning around the Uranus-Pluto waxing squares it is best to be vigilant. 

 Most importantly  the moon in this Full Wolf Moon chart is definitely afflicted which brings up issues around food constraints, famine, water pollution and birth control will be on for the next two weeks till we move toward the Aquarian New Moon on January 31st. Remember that this is the last Full Moon for the year of the water snake, when not all the cards are on the table. Then on the 31st of this month a whole new cycle begins with a much more upfront time period framed by the Green Horse or in the case of revelations one of the four horsemen corresponding to the Four Cardinal Signs now in play big time for the first half of 2014 with Mars continuing in Libra till July 2014.

An Auspicious Capricorn New Moon /Super Moon Starts 2014 with Booms!

This years New Moon in Capricorn aligns with 2014 New Years Celebrations and occurs on January 1, 2014 @ 3:14 AM Pacific Time on the West Coast of the USA. In the UK. this Super Moon or Perigee Moon happens on January 1, 2014 @ 11:14 AM Universal Time. The Sun and Moon are in Capricorn alongside Pluto/Mercury and Venus which is further out by retrograde. On the surface Capricorn can be highly predictable, pedantic, stubborn and ambitious. Dig deeper and we find a an element of the mysterious and cryptic with this sign. Also with this combo, the potential for larceny, misuse of power and ethical malfeasance is present especially when inner lights (Sun-Moon) and planets are conjunct Pluto. with this new moon will relate to business scams and hoaxes along the line of the movie American Hustle which told about a real life sting operation known as ABSCAM. I say this because that tight grouping in the signs of climbing mountain goat and the sea goat. Per Manilius in reference to this sea-goat tail part of the figure says: "The last part of Capricorn, which consists of the sting at the end of its tail, prescribes for its children service upon the seas and the handling of ships, a hardy calling and one which is ever close to death."

  Booms and Quakes to Start 2014 Even though on a personal level ushering in this New Years/New Moon might be a times subdued, don't expect it to be quiet on a collective and earthy level. In fact leading up to this incredible New Moon there have been Loud Booms heard from Corpus Christi, Texas to Strange Booms in Northern Ilinois to Booms that Shook Houses in Cranston, Rhode Island. or more mysterious booms in Toronto and so far no explanation. Most of these incidents have taken place in Eastern half of the United State, primarily from Texas, Oklahoma on through the New Madrid to areas near the St. Lawrence Seaway. Since the Sun entered Capricorn there have been numerous accounts of quakes near the NMZ especially in Oklahoma where quakes have been continuous. Lots of evidence from the last two years shows that pressure building from New Madrid trying to move or have a major adjustment in the diagonal fashion causing booms throughout the East half of the states."

This lunation is known a Super Moon, when the moon is at or near (within 90% of) its closest approach to Earth in a given orbit. A time when tides and seismic shifts are the most predisposed. The year 2014, which begins at the end of the Chinese Cycle of the Black Water Snake and has a total of five supermoons. They are the two new moons of January, and the full moons of July, August and September. January 1, 2014 is the first supermoon of the year, and January 30 is the second. Expect large tides around both dates. We won’t have a single calendar month with two supermoons again until January 2018.

The  New Moon is exact @ 10 degrees 57 minutes Capricorn and this degree translates to 11 degrees of the Seagoat with a mystical Sabian Symbol: Pheasants display their brilliant colors on a private estate. This image speaks directly of a display of wealth, beauty, game birds on large estates or parks. This symbolic image synchronous with an incredible New Moon offers us a time when we all can enjoy whatever riches(spiritual to material) that our environment offers us. Looking at the chart set for the UK we see that the Sun-Moon-Pluto-Mercury are in a tight conjunction at the top of the chart the Mid-Heaven.

One thing is for sure expect an audacious but traditional display welcoming this New Year. Yet hidden within this powerful combo of planets has Mercury separating from Pluto when their can be uncompromising, restrained and obsessive thinking. Mercury is also square Mars (exact Dec. 31st @ 6:59 AM PST) which can add some tension,along with possible quarrels, and accidents, while stimulating decisions which are too impulsive or reactive. Impulse control and restraint should be practiced before you leap into the burning melee. We are fast approaching the year 2014, when life changes in many remarkable ways.

Since all those planets are in the 2nd house of values, money, stocks, investments and will oppose Jupiter expect more emphasis on excess and greed.

Sun/Moon are conjunct Pluto and Mercury in Capricorn so uncompromising and obsessive thinking will continue to manipulate and persuade folks into believing certain ways.

Of course with Saturn now in secretive Scorpio and in mutual reception to Pluto-Mercury there is an aura of mystery about this coming month.
Consider that Mars is the ancient ruler of Scorpio and is transiting in justice oriented Libra near Vesta and Ceres square Pluto
this will be triggering more protests, lawsuits, efforts at righting wrongs.
Mars is posited in the 11th house of groups and associations thus their will be strong advocates to bring about a balance to oligarchical takeovers by the billionaires. Actually that take over reflecting the sudden energies of the Uranus-Pluto squares when we add in Mars now in the sign of planning and negotiations.

With this New Moon, we have a  choice in 2014, whether to fly upwards, building a more spiritual world or stay mired in debris of our subconcsious.

From Fireballs to Weird Weather the Winter Solstice Arrives with Mystery and Pandemonium

It has been a colorful and wild ride since the last Full Cold Moon rose above the eastern horizon on December 17th. This was the same day that Uranus stationed  @ 9 degrees Aries: Sabian Symbol " A seer gazes into a crystal ball in front of him."  A symbol like this reflects some we may begin to glimpse flashes of intuition, clear sight and the ability to penetrate hidden mysteries.
While others may get confused by the literal meaning of symbolic messages similar to when the moon (in Virgo) opposes Neptune.  When Uranus stations and moves forward so do sudden, spontaneous events from accidents to  blizzards to strange weather to  electromagnetism to reversals to complete overhauls in power and eccentric utopian thinking etc.

 

So on December 21st. when I started this report, it's official the Sun is now in active, earth sign Capricorn as of 12:11 PM Eastern Time and 5:11 PM Universal Time for the Winter Solstice and longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. Thankfully the moon continued in Leo which adds some fun and joy to the more serious elements today. The Sun (our identity, ego and will) entered more patriarchal and responsible Capricorn to add a resilient father figure to the already transiting Pluto (shadow) and Venus (lover). In fact on the next new moon on January 1st. the Sun will meet Pluto in an annual conjunction but this time the With the Sun now in cardinal Capricorn the ongoing Uranus-Pluto waxing square of major upheaval is triggered. In my last blog entry I spoke of Black Swan events and in just the last few days leading up to and beyond the Solstice, unusual and unprecedented have transpired.

It started out 52 miles above I-24 just south of Manchester, Tennessee and moved to the north of west at 50,000 mph..."

In fact per Spaceweather.com, Earth is passing through a stream of debris from Comet 8P/Tuttle, source of the annual Ursid meteor shower. Forecasters expect the shower to peak on Dec. 22nd with as many as 10 meteors per hour streaming from a radiant near Polaris, the North Star. Yet the incidence and frequency of what is to come with meteors hitting the planet is increasing radically. It appears that a meteor fragment turned a 7 year old boy in Florida into an instant celebrity. It is natural to ask if this has anything to do with Comet ISON debris...

Another of those unprecedented Black Swan Events involved money and the elements of earth and water. In fact  Pluto (the destroyer)  and Venus (relates to currency)  in Capricorn opposing Jupiter in domestic, consumer oriented Cancer TSQ Uranus representing technology.  In fact this event where resulted in Forty Million Target customers hit in major credit card security breach
In fact this hack or rupture in the credit card system still has folks furious and frustrated.
Suffice to say with Uranus-Pluto continuing in a riotous waxing square moving into the fifth of the series  will occur circa  April 21, 2014,  expect more major hacks.

December 19th. another of those Blacks Swan type events:  This one involved roadway accidents (Mars-Uranus oppositions are a primary indicator of collisions.)
Here we have  bus accidents on the same road and involving casinos relating to the last full moon in Gemini, the twins opposing the Sun-Mercury in the sign of gambling and risk-taking.

As I mentioned in my daily forecasts it takes more than a few lunar transits to derail big systems like the world stock markets or create a world war.
From my daily forecast:
"Of course lunar transits are just a blip on the screen, so it will take a lot more planetary power to really shake things up. "  Well that planetary power is coming hot and heavy first with Mars entering Libra to oppose Uranus (exactly on Dec. 25th.)  The situation could turn drastic and prolonged, if the negotiating powers of Libra aren't used immediately.  I am saying this since,  Mars, the  will move into a difficult retrograde cycle starting on March 1, 2014. Then on June 25, 2014, a second exact opposition occurs after Mars finally moves direct in May 2014. These opposition could create triggers or  major precursor to a sudden event which could start Global Warfare. I say this because the situation in South Sudan is worsening daily as US citizens are evacuated.


So here we are one day after the  Winter Solstice (December 21st) as the Sun enters Capricorn, Venus (a planet connected to "world currency/exchange rates) stations to move retrograde till January 31st. 2014.
Pay attention since the Sun in Capricorn will square Mars, the warrior on January 2, 2014..
Also on January 2, 2014, Mercury also in reality-oriented Capricorn opposes Jupiter in emotional Cancer which could distort the truth via exaggerations.
Then on January 16th. Venus is Square Mars, a transit known for passions and anger that can get out of control. By January 31st, when Venus stations direct @ 14 degrees near Pluto both in determined business-oriented Capricorn and opposing Jupiter, now retrograde in domestic/house oriented and sensitive Cancer we will see more unstable financial conditions. Since Jupiter will move direct in March, we can expect enhanced recklessness in the markets and over-optimism,which should cause concern or even panic heading toward the next exact opposition in the middle of April 2014.

Let's switch to fixed stars by paran/angle, as we try to make sense to more of these events: First off: On the last Full Moon, Antares, the heart of the Scorpion Constellation was the Heliacal Rising Star over both DC and Lousiana. Also when the Sun entered Capricorn to start the winter Solstice, Antares was again the the Heliacal Rising Star. When rising Antares represents the twin forces of passion and obsessiveness. Antares is also one of the four Royal Stars of Persia, also called archangel stars. Antares corresponds to the angel Oriel known as Watcher of the West. Antares doesn't have a great reputation and is a double edged sword so to speak: Per Robson: It can cause malevolence, destructiveness, liberality, broad-mindedness, evil presages and danger of fatality and makes its natives rash, ravenous, headstrong and destructive to themselves by their own obstinacy. 
The Heliacal Setting Star over Washington, DC for the Solstice is El Nath, a double brilliant pure white and pale gray star, marking the tip of the northern or left horn of the constellation Taurus. El Nath being the horn of Taurus, is a weapon that can be used for good or for ill. El Nath is said to create a confronting attitude and a practical desire to deal with real life issues. When setting El Nath is about loving a challenge via a combative attitude. Echoed by Robson: El Nath has the nature of Mars and Mercury. It gives fortune, eminence and neutrality for good or evil. 
Since we don't have the time or the inclination to examine all the Fixed Stars in this Solstice reading, lets look at one obvious choice Aculeus, an open cluster of stars above the stinger of the Scorpion. Aculeus was closely conjunct Mercury by longitude in the DC Solstice Chart. Aculeus close to Mercury speaks volumes about harsh criticism and enduring attacks. Aculeus has a notorious reputation in astrology as one of 'blind stars' along with Acumen found in the Scorpio constellation and is associated with eyesight problems. Aculeus also tends toward a morbid outlook, seeing the worst rather than the best in everything. Dr. Morse goes on to say "If their religious views are affected, as so often with anything in Sagittarius, there is a tendency to be either the 'hellfire and damnation brigade' or to take up a fierce anti-religious and even anti-God stance" With this we can transition again and look closer at Mercury.

  Mercury Out of Bounds Before we finish this report, let's look at Mercury aka Quicksilver moves at an accelerated pace in fire signs like the current transit in risk-taking and changeable Sagittarius when passionate fires can start up quickly and then be quenched just as fast. Mercury in astrology represents, news, networks, media plus our point of view and what we think. When Mercury is OOB, not only celebrities/ leaders or just about anybody who has a platform to express (via Social Media like TWITTER) will tend shock their audience with audacious, unusual, sexually oriented and socially unacceptable topics per Phil Robertson of the Duck Dynasty. even the controversial #HasJustineLandedYet The entire Duck Dynasty Debacle and other manufactured controversies reflect this Mercury placement when we add in the Out of Bounds factor. Per Thor News: "the outrage I witnessed everywhere over A&E's firing of Phil Roberson of the Reality Television show Duck Dynasty. It was everywhere. All over the TV the Radio Twitter Facebook. You couldn't escape it" Thors Video below captures the essence of being able to look at the big picture, one of the positive qualities of Sagittarius. In other words don't get hung up in phony distractions and look toward the future. Are you ready for the next Full Moon on Tuesday, December 17th @ 1:28 AM Pacific or 4:28 AM Eastern?
This lunation was called the "Full Cold Moon or the Full Long Nights Moon" by Native Americans for excellent reasons.  This is always a time when the icy grip of winter clamps down.
Also as we move toward the Winter Solstice (Dec. 21st)  the Moon hangs above the horizon for a longer duration.  This midwinter full Moon has a high trajectory across the sky because it is opposite a low Sun and as we will see mutability and restlessness of this lunation with the Gemini/Sagittarius axis good for amping  up the excitement level with cosmic and mundane data/information overload. 

Severe weather is the real story of the day with a  dangerous 1000 mile snowstorm is blasting the East Coast of the USA.  It is cold everywhere in the Northern Hemisphere as the Cardinal Cross continues to roll ahead with Mars opposing Uranus for sudden freezes and cold snaps from Israel to Alexandria and Cairo. Snow in Cairo, first time in 112 years!

 Israel got clobbered to by snow too as the Middle East is also swimming in a Black Swan Event.

 In fact the Moon is @ 26 degrees Gemini - Sabian Symbol: A winter frost in the woods.
This symbol can reflect the struggle to survive cold and heartless conditions during barren times.
Also there is feeling of some of being "frozen out" or lost and neglected like those who may lose their unemployment benefits due to the new budget.

In the chart set for Washington, DC on Dec. 17th. @ 4:28 AM EST, the  Moon resides in the 8th house or natural house of Scorpio and the ascendant we should be aware of those correspondences In other words the 8th. relates to debt, taxes, death, probate, inheritance, losses, international finance, multi-national corporations and social security.
Of course with the Sun @ 26 degrees Sagittarius and in the another financial house, the 2nd. The 2nd house relates to money markets, banks and financial institutions, investments, national wealth and values. .the Sabian - "A Flag Bearer in Battle."
A symbol of convictions mixed with fanaticism and leadership weighed down by responsibilities and with Mercury near by in Sagittarius keeping an optimistic and brave face mounting troubles (notice Saturn, Lord of Karma right on the rising). Looking further at the chart below set for Washington, DC we notice that Saturn is almost exactly conjunct the ascendant which implies restrictions, control and passion in Scorpio. This Scorpio mash-up reveals more debt trending and secrets which have kept our country in check for a long time.

Mars is the co-ruler of this chart since it is the ancient ruler of Scorpio. Pluto is the modern ruler of this chart and as we see Mars is in powerful cardinal cross involving Uranus/Pluto and Jupiter.
Right after the Full Moon, the planet of eccentric shifts, Uranus stations (@ 9:39 AM PST) to move direct to really shake things up. . Some history... The term Black Swan originates from the (Western) belief that all swans are white because these were the only ones accounted for. Mars in this chart is applying towards an opposition with Uranus in the 5th. house connected to all things Leo. The reason I mentioned the Black Swan idea is that this occurs on the 5/11 house axis when shocking things occur. In this mundane chart, the 5th. represents places of entertainment, sports, fashion, leisure, children, games of chance, speculative interests, linked to Stock Exchanges. We could a sudden upswing with the Dow over 16,000 followed by a precipitous drop!

 Uranus is stationing direct @ 9 degrees Aries. Aries the symbolic Pioneer, Adversary and at times the raging Bersker! The Sabian Symbol for 9 degrees Aries: "A seer gazes into a crystal ball in front of him." This reflects that this moon will bring flashes of intuition, clear sight and the ability to penetrate hidden mysteries for some. While others may get confused by the literal meaning of symbolic messages. ONE thing for sure don't get lost in the supposed, BIG PICTURE since Mercury now in Sagittarius has just entered an "Out of Bounds" position by declination and is moving towards the Sun in overly optimistic Sagittarius! Again there is a tendency toward the irrational exuberance fueled by the mainstream media trying to paint over the reality of what is coming. From Matthew 24:36: "However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows"
Consider that Uranus moving direct connects with the unexpected, revolutions, anarchy, innovations, technology, and earthquakes. In Lunation charts (New Moon and Full Moon events) an afflicted Uranus can trigger upheavals, revolution, plane crashes, train derailments, explosions, large accidents, severe weather earthquakes, tornadoes With Comet ISON's fragments in an erratic orbit, more CME's delivering rapid fire blows to the Earth's magnetic fields and an upswing in meteors/fireballs lightning storms watch for crazy weather. This Uranian station offers the real possibility of larger and continued protests, strikes and riots for real and perceived freedoms.
Saturn is transiting @ 19 degrees Scorpio with this Sabian Symbol "A parrot listening then talking repeats a conversation he has overheard."
This Sabian has obvious references to the NSA Surveillance scandal, the idea of channeling information, translating languages, talking heads and yes brainwashing. Expect more push back from the collective against this type of invasive activity now being implemented by social media .

Too Much Mandela or Jupiter in Cancer opposing Venus in Capricorn?

Today marks one of the Colossal Staged Events in History. With the passing of Nelson Mandela, along with the start of a mourning process both in South Africa and further afield, comes the launch of one of the country’s biggest ever staged events as it gears up to bury the beloved father of the Rainbow Nation 91 world leaders, heads of state and dignitaries from around the world were there. To satisfy the hungriest "Celebretard" a brigade of superstars who each take pride in calling Mr Mandela a friend. This included luminaries like U2 frontman Bono, singer Annie Lennox, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, talk show host Oprah Winfrey and supermodel Naomi Campbell. So what is the astrological reason for such an historic event? Why did some of the whose who of the whose who of the NWO schlepped over to South Africa with their bodyguards and entourage?

 Jupiter, the King of Gods stays on the average one year in each sign on this passage around the Sun.
When Jupiter, the planet relating to expansion, is in that sign, we generally are inundated by way too much of the symbols, qualities, nuances and keywords of that sign. Jupiter made the ingress into Cancer on June 25, 2013 and remains till July 16, 2014. Currently Jupiter is traveling in the sign of the Summer Solstice, Mothers, Babies, Baby Bumps, Africa in general, breasts, cooking, families, stomach, nutrition, boats, ponds,silver (why price has been down), toilets etc.

Again we see forces of Saturn in Scorpio at play. Jupiter is also opposing Venus now in ambitious, controlled, restrictive and colder Capricorn. More importantly with Venus opposing Jupiter, some of the biggest celebrations and gatherings can occur. Plus since Venus is stationing to move retrograde on December 21st this opposition will again become closer as Jupiter continues retrograde till March 6th. When Jupiter, the planet relating to ethics, morals and corruption is retrograde don't expect the light of day to shine on virtuous activities by those in charge. The Big Mandela Memorial is all about utilizing touchy, feelie emotional reaction (Jupiter in Cancer) to control and parse out the worlds resources. Africa is particularly vulnerable now that Mandela has passed. Jupiter is also opposing the planet of Fat Cats,the Notorious, Oligarchs and Power Players, Pluto in authoritarian, responsible, traditional Capricorn

Nelson Mandela funeral: what happens now One thing is for sure don't expect full scale world-wide revolution till end of January/February.

What we will have is the staged reconciliation of world leaders in their overly pretentious and congratulatory manner. with Barack Obama in the center of the action. This picture says it all along with Michelle's long face and with the comments from mashable. Here is an example of how Saturn-Jupiter works together in the appeasement process: showing him shaking hands with Cuba's president, Raul Castro, at this memorial service. In fact now that the NSA spying scandal has reached critical mass as Mars continues in Libra wanting to write wrongs so to speak, the USA has to appease. We see part of that process to placate those who are genuinely angry about the mass surveillance techniques. Obama was greeting a line of world leaders and heads of state attending the memorial in Johannesburg. He also shook hands with the Brazilian president, Dilma Rousseff, who has clashed with Obama over National Security Agency spying.

It is best to watch this event with a jaundiced eye and those that follow. Remember that other huge natural and man-made events are coming just as Uranus stationed direct on Dec. 17th.  Pay attention  for some unexpected sleight of hand activity  as all these dignitaries assemble in the Southern Hemisphere while the rest of us freeze our tails off here in the North.

Killer Freeze and Ice Storm Hits Hard with the New Moon - An Astrological View

Since the New Moon arrived on Monday, December 2nd., severe and dangerously cold weather has created havoc and even from four homeless have died from exposure in the Santa Clara County. Santa Clara County officials announced Friday that four homeless men had died over eight days of hypothermia-related causes, including three in the previous 48 hours as a cold snap sent the region into a deep freeze. Records were broken in the San Jose Area: Temperatures throughout the greater San Jose area reached a low in the mid-20s in the overnight hours Thursday, according to the National Weather Service. The low at Mineta San Jose International Airport was 30 degrees, breaking the previous record of 32 degrees in 1931. Cold weather records were also broken in Livermore, 26 degrees; Mountain View, 33; and Oakland, 37. There was also a rare dusting of snow on San Jose's Mount Hamilton on Friday evening. Generally it is the planet Uranus which is responsible for breaking all types of records including those involving cold temperatures. As we will see below.

Astrometeorology and the San Jose Freeze
 Looking at a chart set for the New Moon on December 2nd @ 4:22 PM for San Jose, California and the Big Freeze,  let's examine some of the reasons for hyperborean chill  using Astrometeorological techniques are used with solar ingress (spring, summer, fall winter)  lunation charts (either new or full moons).   Primarily we use the 4th house as the  main indicator followed by the sign and planets on  the first house and the 10th. In other words 50% of the overall prevailing conditions are described by the planets in the 4th house, their sign and the aspects they make to other planets, This is then followed by the sign on the cusp of the 4th. and its ruler. At first glance we only see an asteroid, Pallas intercepted in Virgo. Virgo tends to indicate cold, a dry cold which is on the cool side with winds; blustery but there must be something else going on?. Then we see that Pallas is also opposing Chiron and Neptune in Pisces intercepted at the top of the chart. Neptune indicates cool, wet, fog, mist along with peculiar, freakish weather events and since Mercury in the last degrees of Scorpio tends to intensify the action of the rest of the chart and never fails to bring an extreme of some kind we look at the movement of this winged messenger. Bingo, Mercury moved into Sagittarius on Dec.4th. @ 6:42 PM. to square Neptune, the coldest temperatures were felt on Thursday morning. In fact skipping ahead, Aquarius is on the cusp of the MC. (Medium Coeli) or Midheaven located midway between its ascension on the eastern horizon and descension on the western horizon. The ruler of the MC is Uranus always a record breaker and big indicator of this sudden cold snap. Leo is found on the cusp or IC. or Imum Coeli (Latin for "bottom of the sky") The ruler is the Sun conjunct the Moon in an angular 7th. house. The moon considered chilly and wettest of all planets being in Sagittarius is in mutual reception to Jupiter in Cancer. It is said that when the Sun in combination with the Moon is in mutual aspect to other planets, this can also result in extreme weather conditions.  Jupiter is also in an opposition to Venus in Capricorn and Capricorn is related to some of the  lowest temperatures in winter.   Venus is still Out of Bounds by declination which tends toward not just low temps but augments snowfall and  freezing rain.

 Let's continue in our analysis of the New Moon chart for San Jose, California and  examine the remaining 25% of the prevailing conditions.  We start by looking at the 1st house - using the same formula. Gemini was rising at this New Moon thus ruler Mercury as we said found in the last degrees of Scorpio in the 6th house a major player. Mercury at this time was applying to a square with Neptune, intercepted in the 10th house in Pisces adding to theis freakish weather event. The remaining 25% from the rest of the chart puts the focus on the MC or Midheaven at 14 degrees Aquarius relating to the unexpected and ruler Uranus, which brings sudden reversals and breaks records. We also have to take in account that Mars was in the last degrees of Virgo heading toward an opposition with Uranus, the progenitor of cold, dry air masses resulting in winter freezes.   Uranus is still in orb of a square with Pluto, a planet known for violent extremes and cool temperatures.
Note that squares and opposition are regarded as  storm breeders. Squares and oppositions between Mars and Saturn or Mars and Uranus can engender some very powerful storm systems.
  Near the MC is also the asteroid Juno transiting in Aquarius. Juno (an asteroid usually known for partnerships) is associated also with the atmosphere and brings storms. In Aquarius, Juno brought unexpected and bitter, arctic temperatures.

Ice Storm Continues From Texas to the Ohio Valley Today's weather news was filled with accounts of ICE Friday and the deadly ice storm in U.S. which knocked out power, halts flights. This is severe cold weathe ris happening all over the country as some forecasters say is the worst to hit the United States in years slammed the nation's midsection Friday, snarling travel and knocking out power for hundreds of thousands of customers.

A dramatic announcement that The ice storm cut power to hundreds of thousands of customers from Texas to Tennessee after the New Moon. The Oncor Power Company, which delivers power to more than 3 million customers in Texas, reported more than 260,000 power outages at the peak of the storm early Friday.



Astrometeorology and the Dallas Winter Storm 
 Below is a chart set for the New Moon on Monday Dec. 2nd in Dallas, Texas @ 6:22 PM CST Gemini is rising, like the chart set for San Jose, CA but @ the last degrees thus the ruler is also Mercury posited in the 6th. house in Scorpio. Mercury in this case represented cool, frigid air coming from the north. Plus Mercury in Scorpio brought extremes, that were destructive. With the dangerous ice storm that crippled Texas, the Mercury-Neptune square was even more intense since Neptune, which can bring torrential downpours and wet weather was moving toward the MC. Using the same formula as we did for the San Jose chart where 50% of the overall prevailing conditions are described by planets in the 4th house we notice first that Virgo is on the cusp. Virgo tends to indicate cold, a dry cold air adding blustery winds. Pallas conjunct the IC or or Imum Coeli closely opposing Chiron and Neptune in Pisces adding danger to the residents. In the 4th house we find Mars in Virgo near Vesta and Ceres in Libra and they all oppose Uranus. Thus Uranus, the record breaker at the top of the chart and in a T-Square Pluto adds up to hyper freezing and acute extremes. Squares and oppositions between Mars and  and Uranus can engender some of the most aggressive storm systems.  The important communique is that it ain't over yet. Winter Storm Dion, the fourth named winter storm of the 2013-14 season, will result in more snow and ice for some of the same areas impacted by Winter Storm Cleon. This monster storm Dion is just getting started and will  spread snow and ice from the Midwest to the Mid-South, Ohio Valley, Middle Atlantic and Northeast Saturday night into Monday. 

The lingering frigid air will not only lay in the path for more icing this weekend but will also delay recovery in communities dealing with widespread power outages and thus no heat. This storm system dubbed "Winter storm Cleon" moved east, parts of several states from Texas to Arkansas to the Ohio Valley will see rapidly changing conditions as rain changes to snow or ice with falling temperatures. Mars enters Libra on December 7th. @ 12:42 PM Pacific which coincides with vigorous and potentially deadly Winter Storm Dion. With the ingress of destructive Mars we began to see a perilous and super active cardinal cross take shape. So far as of early Saturday, there have been 11 fatalities from the cold, ice and snow in the USA. 

Ice Age Starts in 2014?
As the cardinal cross develops into 2014 with Mars opposing Uranus adding swift and sudden weather extremes along with Pluto/Venus in Capricorn opposing Jupiter in Cancer will bring  mega-energetic storm systems.  In fact we may want to look at a recent article from ClimateScience.com. Everyday we hear about new eruptions and volcanic activity form perennial spots on the Ring of Fire. Mount Marapi in  West Sumatra which erupted Saturday resulted in a column of thick, gray ash 350 meters high while  Kamachatka’s Klyuchevskoy volcano the highest active volcano in Russia discharged a massive 6 KM high ash cloud. We currently have 35 volcanoes erupting in the world presently adding to the potential for a new ice age to develop similar to what happened with the Younger Dryas or Big Freeze at the end of the Pleistocene period.
