Annular Solar Eclipse in Taurus - Sedna, Vulcan and Aphrodite Show their Power

 We are on the eve of tomorrow's powerful eclipse @ 19 degrees 31 minutes of Taurus with this Sabian Symbol - "Wisps of clouds like wings are streaming across the skies." The Heliacal Setting Star is Zuben Elgenubi - Setting 09 mins 22 secs before Sunrise. Zuben Elgenubi is found in the southern Claw of the Scorpion in constellation of Libra. On the postive side of the scale, this star can help improve the quality of life for all. According to Ptolemy it has the nature of Saturn and Mars, although later authors substituted Saturn and Venus or Saturn and Mercury. One thing that we can expect from this eclipse is a shattering and collapsing of much of what we hold onto in 3rd. dimension.  As we approach the final eclipse in this trio on May 25th.in fiery Sagittarius,  the Sun, Venus, Mercury will have joined Jupiter in Gemini which will mark a more adaptable time dominated by ideas and communications. Plus the third mega waxing square between Uranus, the shocker and Pluto, the destroyer will have separated adding a new momentum to

Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio Part One - A Release of Tension Between Scylla and Charybdis

 I have been getting a lot of questions about the next Lunar Eclipse mostly as to the effects of this event. My intuitive feelings have been shouting at me that this is one of the biggest eclipses of the year. There will be a tremendous release of tensions, possibly even via tectonic plates with this eclipse which is part of the Saros Series 15 South. The next eclipse in this Saros Series takes place on May 9, 2013 with the annular solar and a new moon in Taurus. The overview for this Saros Series (Saros means repetition) is that this eclipse series starting on June 6, 1472 involves a situation(s) which has been languishing for a while. A issue which will suddenly clear up. In the process of this major resolution there will be a collective sense of loss and grief. Since Saturn is conjunct the Moon in the sign of death, we may continue to experience a great number of people could be deceased by the time this Series runs it's course in the next three months. On the other hand the combination of the Sun-Mars and the sensuality of Taurus along with the intimacy and sexuality of Moon-Saturn in Scorpio could offer a phoenix-like rebirth for many couples.

  Some Facts about the Eclipse: This is the first of three lunar eclipses in 2013 and kicks off Eclipse Season for the Year of the Snake. For the futuristic thinker or eclipse watcher, the next Solar Eclipse occurs on May 9, 2013 and will happen on the Feast of Ascension Day also known as Ascension Thursday, Holy Thursday. This is the second shortest penumbral or partial eclipse of the Moon for the 21st century, lasting 27 minutes. On September 29, 2042, a partial eclipse of just 0.3% lasting just 12 minutes will be visible. Thursday April 25th. the Moon will be Full @ 12:57 PM. PDT @ while the maximum part of the this partial eclipse occurs @ at 1:08 PM for San Francisco. The maximum eclipse for London, UK for UTC is at 8:08 PM.  The Lunar Eclipse due up this Thursday will be in the sign of the shadows and rebirth-Scorpio @ 5 degrees 46 minutes. The Sabian Symbol for 6 degrees Scorpio is appropriate in what may seem paradoxical: "A gold rush." While the Sun opposing is Saturn in these fixed signs, gold has been dropping precipitously into the $1,300 level yet there is a major disconnect between Physical Gold vs. Paper Gold. Gold is a metal astrologically associated with the Sun and Leo and right after the last New Moon in Aries where the Sun was exalted and conjunct the Moon-Mars-Venus moving closer into orb with an opposition to Saturn, the gold market began to unravel. In fact on April 13, there were big sell orders of 400 tonnes that moved the futures market lower as all the stops were taken out. My guess is that with the next two eclipses gold and silver will start rebounding from their bottom. Taurus ( where the S. Node also resides) represent the 2nd. House or the principle of having. Taurus is on the axis of security via possessions, money, assets and values including all financial markets. Scorpio where the Moon-Saturn (limitations) and N Node of destiny reside relate to principle of transformation, where a dramatic shift from symbolical death to rebirth occurs. Besides of course destruction, debt, taxes, Scorpio is the detective, shaman/shape shifter, gangster who is will journey into the underworld and place of shadows.

Since Pluto is retrograde in the chart set for 7:57 PM UTC in London where Scorpio is rising between Saturn and N. Node or between Scylla and Charybdis per the myth involving Odysseus. Symbolically "on the horns of a dilemma", or "between the devil and the deep blue sea". We will all have similar choices with this eclipse - perhaps not as dramtic. The theme of the ocean is also carried out with a Grand Water Trine where the Moon trines Neptune in Pisces on the 4th. to Ceres/Vesta in Cancer in the 8th. Oceans, rivers and floods will be active as we have been seeing in the US. Midwest  where flood waters still haven't retreated. One other  example of what is happening relates to ">Scotland which was hit by a second bout of freak sandstorms today, causing an estimated £50,000 damage to crops.
  Thus Taurus represents farmers and the earth per Mars-Sun-Venus-Pallas and S. Node in TSQ to Saturn and N. Node in Scorpio and Juno in Aquarius. Uranus ruler of Aquarius is speeding closer to the third mega-square with Pluto on May 20th. Thus the phrase between "a rock and a hard place" will be continue to taken literally since they describe the opposition from S.Node and Venus both in the sign of banking Taurus positioned on the 7th House representing powerful interests foreign relations, treaties and/or disputes, and even colorfully describe the current collapse in the EU, the City of London where those who own the Bank of England reside. England is in fact a financial oligarchy run by the "Crown" which refers to the "City of London" not the Queen.

 Looking at the chart above we also see Pallas,Sun and Mars posited in the 6th. house relating to service folks specifically the army, navy, police, civil service...More specifically this Lunar Eclipses work internally issues around disease could be present particularly since China's bird flu cases have risen 104 Since this is the 6th. house there is also a connection to places serving food and drink, public health and health workers. Pluto ruler of the chart above is on the 3rd. House cusp opposing Ceres in the 8th also relating to food and food born problems yet more specifically adds an entirely occult mindset to this eclipse. Since the 3rd. house also represents rumors expect some strange and seemingly mysterious stories to materialize. Also with the Taurus planets meeting irresistible force per Saturn in Scorpio there will be continual delays in many forms of transportation including planes, railways and on the roads. Many forms of communications from the internet to telephones will experience disruptions whether from hacking or from weather related causes.  In fact we should expect more incidents like the one that happened on Tues. The purported tweet which occurred a 1:07 p.m. EDT, came via the Associated Press exclaimed "Breaking: Two Explosions in the White House and Barack Obama is injured." Leo was rising at that time thus the Sun was the chart's ruler and the Sun was positioned near Mid-Heaven and conjunct Venus (money values-stock markets) opposing Saturn close to the IC in Scorpio a sign known for loss while Juno in Aquarius (Internet partners) was TSQ both Saturn and Venus adding to the dangers of this hack. Chaos Continues with Explosions, Floods and Attacks heading into the Lunar Eclipse

If you have observed, studied, analyzed, got gut and intuitive feelings about astrological transits you can still be totally shocked even non-plussed by the results of certain configurations. This last Aries New Moon which I wrote about in my last blog entry when I said: "the effects of this pre-eclipse lunation will ongoing for a while . Without a doubt this entire region has become even beyond tectonically active with Earthquake swarm continuing under Miyake volcano at Japan’s Izu Islands

 In the Boston area which went on lock down per Saturn(Scorpio) opposing Venus (Taurus)  another berserk and chaotic scene this time at MIT where a police officer shot and killed. When I stated that the constant barrage of seemingly chaotic, extreme events would progress non-stop, it was based on the combination of cardinal squares, fixed stars and the totally unpredictable juggernaut of upheaval, Uranus-Pluto in a dangerous waxing square. In fact Deneb Algedi was also the Heliacal Rising Star over the USA coast to coast on the last Full Moon in Libra. In fact per Robson, nature of Saturn and Jupiter; and, to Alvidas, of Uranus and Mercury in Aquarius in opposition to Saturn in Leo. It is said to cause beneficence and destructiveness, sorrow and happiness, and life and death.
